We’ve been sent details of a new weekly challenge you might be interested in…

Here at The Inspirational Learning Group, we want to work with all teachers to ensure that pupils receive a wide range of educational and engaging tasks to work on throughout this period of school closures.

We are very excited to launch “Home School Challenge” – free, weekly challenges that will test your students design and innovation skills.  These challenges will be suitable for students of all ages.

Our weekly challenges will help students to develop a broad range of skills; Innovation, Creativity, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Promotion and Pitching, through a variety of different tasks.

This week we are asking students to create a brand-new product of their choice which is useful around their home or garden, using 100% recyclable or waste materials. Once a student has completed the challenge, they should upload an image (with no more than 200 words explaining their idea) or a video (no longer than 60 seconds) showcasing their work before 6.00pm on Saturday 4th April.

Remind your students to tag us in their post and use #TILGvirtual otherwise we might not see their idea and it will not be considered by the judges.

The weekly challenges will be launched every Monday with the winner announced at 11am.  This week’s prize has been kindly donated by Cineworld Stoke on Trent – 2 x tickets to any film, at any Cineworld nationwide (valid for 12 months).

We feel that these short challenges are an excellent way to keep your students engaged as well as developing their key employability skills – why not post these challenges on your school social media channels or email the challenge over to your pupils so that everyone has the opportunity to work on these challenges?

Kind regards,
The Inspirational Learning Group
