This term our Year 9 Life Skills topic has been about relationships and how we can make positive contributions to the lives of others. Our pupils wanted to take part in a fundraising event and came up with the idea of ‘New Bridge does Comic Relief’………

6 brave volunteers agreed to have cream pies thrown at them in aid of Comic Relief. Posters were made and put up around school. The big day arrived and the pupils were eager to get very messy – as you can see, everybody had a lot of fun! A fantastic total of £81 was raised by the pupils who should be extremely proud of their achievement and of being such brilliant sports for such a good cause.
