Today three of our Activ8 Rugby League players were due to attend a training session led by Halifax Rugby League Club. Thanks to Mr Greenway not checking his emails during the Easter holidays (tut tut) they arrived at the club only to discover that the session had been cancelled – disaster!!

Then Scott Murrell, Halifax’s Club Captain, came to the rescue and offered the boys a one to one Rugby League gym workout..

.. along with a free rugby ball each, a tour of the MBi Shay Stadium AND (as if that wasn’t enough!) tickets for an upcoming Championship fixture! We’re not sure who enjoyed this brilliant day the most, the boys or lifelong Halifax fan, Mr Greenway…!!

We would like to thank Scott for taking the time to look after the group and giving them such a fantastic opportunity, and also the club for their personal tour of the ground and those wonderful tickets!!  🙂
