Our IB lessons are something else! In Maths Mr Jackson’s class have been exploring the Galapagos Islands. They have been looking at different shapes and they have even made their own sailing boat to catch animals in! They rolled a dice, counted the spots and then caught the same number of animals into their boat..
When they reached the shore, they then matched the amount of animals to the correct number card..
They didn’t fancy cooking their freshly caught creatures so they made their own cod fish fingers and then picked out the biggest and smallest or longest and shortest piece of fish..
The fish fingers were delicious!! They even found time for a spot more fishing afterwards..
We wish our Maths lessons could have been as much fun!
