This week we have all been busy getting ready for Children in Need. Miss Warner’s class pulled out all the stops..
We wanted to make our own Pudsey t- shirts, so on our community trip we went to Oldham and visited Primark for some plain white t-shirts. Miss Warner cut out a stencil of Pudsey Bears and taped one to each t- shirt. Miss Dickinson, Mrs Mills, Mrs Fletcher and Mrs Dransfield supported us hand over hand to do some fantastic rolling. Some of us worked independently and used round dabbers to create lots of spots..
The end result was fantastic, everyone looked amazing!
You can’t have Children in Need without lots of fun baking! So the bowls and ingredients came out and off we baked. There wasn’t a clean table to be seen. We followed simple instructions and used symbols to find all the correct equipment and ingredients. We did lots of risk taking and didn’t really use the scales but the end products were delicious..
At break time we visited Miss Silvester’s class. All the pupils and staff had been busy making homemade OUTSTANDING cakes and biscuits. They had a beautiful stall in class to raise money for Children in Need. We took it in turns to choose a cake, and were very excited doing this!! We definitely gave them a 10/10..
We’ve had a fantastic week!!
Miss Silvester’s cake sale really was something else! Her class had worked really hard making lots of delicious goodies to sell..
All their hard work paid off though, as their beautiful stall had the school flocking to their classroom..
..and they raised an incredible £100.35!!! Well done, everyone!!
