I hope you’ve all managed to enjoy some of the Easter sunshine that we’ve been lucky enough to have this weekend! I am grateful for the mainly dry weather, it must be easier for those of you with young families that at least you can sit outside or get out for an hour for a family walk at least. Fingers crossed it continues.
A quick update this week to share more of the fantastic work that our children have been doing at home. We have had some lovely Easter Egg drawings, children using the iPads to create some fab rainbows..
..brilliant Maths work..
..great art work from Szymon and his mum..
..an update on our plants from Harry in class 3..
..and lots of photos of Easter crafts that we’ve been completing in school too..
The Easter Bunny came to visit us at New Bridge and Mia had to follow his footprints to find the eggs he had hidden for her – complete with the beautiful Easter Bonnet she made..
The week at New Bridge ended with a fantastic water fight….I think the adults were more excited than the children but great fun was had by all..
We have continued to add some fun challenges to our Showbie folders to keep you busy during the holidays. Please keep on sending us photos of all the fantastic stuff you are doing – we really do miss you all.
Jack has shared these photos with us this morning – like many other children, they have been busy making posters to stick in their windows of rainbows and messages of support for the emergency services. They received a knock at the door this morning from a local policeman who had brought some Easter Eggs as a “thank you for caring” – how lovely!
Have a great week everyone, don’t forget we are here if you need us.
