Our Week – 9.6.23
It’s time for a round up of some of the things that have been going on at Spring Brook Lower this past week…
Class 1
Class 1 have been learning about how a mobile phone works. They made ‘cell sites’ representing the different networks around the classroom.
Then they used wool to represent the connections between each network.
They learned that although they can’t see them, these connections are happening everywhere!
Class 6
Class 6 have had great fun combining maths, team work and problem solving. They have been learning about positional language.
The boys had to work with a partner to move the glass and ball around the maze. They had to communicate to each other to decide which way to go and how to get there negotiating obstacles.
They were only allowed to hold the strings!

Class 2
As part of their topic ‘spies and gadgets’ Class 2 have been looking at the famous story of ‘operation mincemeat’.
The story of how in world war 2 the British soldiers used a spy to trick the Germans!
