EHCP Outcomes
The primary need for all pupils is Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). Pupils have Spring Brook Academy named in their EHCPs following a consultation process with the Local Authority.
Within Section E of the EHCP are a number of outcomes to be worked towards/achieved by the end of a specified Key Stage.
This document is shared with class teachers prior to the child’s arrival at school in order that planning for learning takes account of their individual needs.
A Portfolio of Evidence – We build a portfolio of evidence, using Dashboard and Showbie, that highlights the journey towards achieving the EHCP outcomes.
Evidence – Evidence is gathered from a range of curricular opportunities, including formal learning and social times.
Skilfully Planned – Teachers planning allows for children to succeed in more than one lesson so that the skill becomes embedded.
Progress Sharing – Progress can be shared with families at EHCP reviews / parents’ evenings in an interactive way.
Family Contribution – Families can contribute to the process and add evidence from home.
